Sometimes you need really specific software that has been designed and built to meet only your needs. Cabinet UK has been programming bespoke tools and applications for almost 10 years and has an experienced, intelligent development team that can build the software that you need.

One of our largest, long-term clients has highly specific requirements for touchscreen software on-board cruise-ships. We have created for them a highly complex back-end system that integrates with a large third-party database for the provision of photographic services. Our system incorporates Flash interfaces on the kiosks themselves, automatic relay of orders to the printers, e-commerce integrated with passengers’ accounts and distribution of updates to the numerous ships around the world. And all compiled as a standalone application as Web access is limited on-board.

Similarly, Orange plc asked us to create a Web-based survey tool so that invited users could report back on the functionality and usability of various handheld devices. Each trial can be set up with its own question, responses and timelines and each user’s responses can be tracked and integrated with trial-wide results. The data can be exported for further statistical analysis. We designed and built both the front-end that the triallists use and the back-end administration system that the trial managers use to set up and manage each trial and through which reports and data can be accessed.
